Describing My Compositional Style
My music can best be described as a fusion of modern sensibilities with a diverse array of influences. It draws from genres such as R&B, Jazz, Film Scores, Video Games, and Visual Art, among others. I like to think of it as a tapestry of sound, weaving together various elements to create a unique auditory experience. I would describe my style as neo-impressionistic contemporary with a touch of whimsy. It's all about creating sonic landscapes that are both evocative and immersive. I'm particularly drawn to the vibrant sounds and colors that defined the works of composers from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Their innovations serve as a wellspring of inspiration for me, guiding my exploration of melody, harmony, and texture.The composers of that era had a remarkable ability to evoke emotion through their music, and I strive to capture that same sense of depth and resonance in my own compositions. Whether it's the lush orchestrations of the Romantic period or the experimental techniques of the early 20th century avant-garde, I find myself continually inspired by the boundless creativity of those who came before me. While I draw a lot of inspiration from the past, I'm also influenced by the cutting-edge practices of today's music scene. Electronic and Experimental music, in particular, have opened up new avenues of exploration for me. I'm constantly experimenting with different sounds, textures, and production techniques, always striving to push the boundaries of what's possible in music.
